…I have no idea what I’m doing; four kids in, and I’m highly suspicious of anyone who claims they do. If you are looking for a perfectly manicured space full of black and white idyllic photos and well mannered kids, then this probably isn’t the place for you. Most days, mothering finds me at an ironic crossroads where the sheer amazement and wonder of our life collides with the horror and overwhelming disbelief that this is, in fact, our life.
